ALLIANCE PARTY NOMINATES 11 COUNCIL CANDIDATES IN NORTH DOWN
The Alliance Party has successfully nominated its largest ever number of Council Candidate hopefuls in North Down with eleven candidates vying for Council seats in the upcoming May elections.
The nominations come after last years’ success in the 2022 Assembly Elections with the Party gaining another MLA seat in North Down, and after the 2019 Local Council elections which saw six Alliance Councillors returned. Commenting North
Down MP Dr Stephen Farry said “We are proud to be putting forward such a strong team of candidates and look forward to building on the fantastic work done in recent years to deliver an even larger Council group to represent the people of North Down.”

MLA Andrew Muir added, “Our Alliance candidates for this years’ Local Elections come from a wide variety of backgrounds and are all passionate about delivering locally for residents across the Borough.”
