Pollard from the text version of the Caxton edition. – Set from the type designed by HP Horne based on Venetian models. – The title font and the initials were designed by M. Engall. – Printed by Charles T. Jacobi at Chiswick Press. – Six of the eight issues of the »Illustrated Quarto Series« contain illustrations by the Scottish painter William Russell Flint (1880–1969), who was one of the most successful and well-known book illustrators in the English kingdom at the time. –The color plates were printed as chromolithographs and mounted on laid paper, each plate with a silk cover sheet with text quotation in red.
