A PRETEEN SABBATH LESSON

The Master Plan Jesus, Our Loving Savior

Love is more than a feeling. It is a choice to act.

START HERE

Love is more than a feeling Biblical love involves action.

Commitment: stay faithful when it is hard. Service: notice and meet others’ needs. Obedience: choose God’s way.

THE MASTER PLAN / PRETEEN LESSON

02

01 • THE DIVINE BLUEPRINT

A rescue plan before our birth God the Father is the Master Architect.

His plan confronts the destructive power of sin. Christ willingly came to carry out that plan. His sacrifice offers forgiveness and eternal life.

THE MASTER PLAN / PRETEEN LESSON

03

01 • THE POWER OF HIS SACRIFICE

What does “washed clean” mean? Christ’s blood has spiritual power.

The lesson connects His blood with forgiveness. Repentance means turning away from sin. Following Him means changing our choices.

THE MASTER PLAN / PRETEEN LESSON

04

02 • FULLY GOD, FULLY HUMAN

From heaven to Bethlehem Christ entered the reality of human life.

The Holy Spirit caused Mary to conceive. He was born in Bethlehem. Mary and Joseph raised Him.

THE MASTER PLAN / PRETEEN LESSON

05

03 • MINISTRY

Leadership through service Ministry means serving the Lord by serving others. Help and care for people. Teach truth and encourage repentance. You do not have to be an adult to serve.

THE MASTER PLAN / PRETEEN LESSON

06

03 • MINISTRY IN ACTION

Truth, mercy, and provision His love was visible in what He did.

He preached the gospel and taught obedience. He healed people and raised the dead. He fed crowds with a few loaves and fish.

THE MASTER PLAN / PRETEEN LESSON

07

03 • HUMILITY

Great leaders are willing to serve Christ washed His apostles’ feet.

He chose a humble act of care. Status did not stop Him from serving. Real leadership asks, “How can I help?”

THE MASTER PLAN / PRETEEN LESSON

08

04 • THE ULTIMATE TEST

Courage does not mean no fear Christ faced fear, sorrow, and suffering.

His emotions were real. Fortitude means courage when life is hard. He remained obedient to His Father.

THE MASTER PLAN / PRETEEN LESSON

09

04 • LIES AND INJUSTICE

He was treated cruelly False witnesses lied about Him.

He was slapped, spat on, and whipped. People mocked and humiliated Him. His suffering was real—not pretend.

THE MASTER PLAN / PRETEEN LESSON

10

04 • THE CROWN OF THORNS

Mockery and deep disrespect A crown of thorns was used to mock Him.

A robe and reed made a cruel imitation of royalty. Blasphemous means deeply disrespectful to God. Someone helped carry His cross.

THE MASTER PLAN / PRETEEN LESSON

11

05 • THE REALITY OF THE CROSS

The cost of His sacrifice Crucifixion was a brutal form of execution.

Christ was nailed to a wooden cross. He endured suffering and exhaustion. He died after about six hours on the cross.

THE MASTER PLAN / PRETEEN LESSON

12

05 • UNMATCHED MERCY

Mercy in the middle of suffering

“Father, forgive them; for they know not

what they do.” He prayed for the people hurting Him.

THE MASTER PLAN / PRETEEN LESSON

13

06 • YOUR RESPONSE
