The holy spirit & electricity Part 2

Electricity in its purest form is transferred energy. Many mysteries still exist about its power and origin. Simply put, humans do not fully understand electricity. We simply understand it well enough to use it, but not completely enough to say we know everything about it. Just like God’s holy word, we are given understanding in measure as it pertains to both the Holy Spirit and electricity. We understand how electric current flows through wires, how voltage and resistance work and how to generate power, but we don’t understand what electricity ultimately is at its deepest level and why electric charge exists at all. Even great minds like Albert Einstein admitted that nature contains profound mysteries beyond complete understanding. These distinct boundaries were created by God in his infinite wisdom. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9

Full understanding is not always required for relationships or reality. We use electricity without fully comprehending its essence, and we can experience God’s Spirit without fully comprehending God Himself. Both electricity and the Holy Spirit are invisible but real.

Christ stated that the Spirit is like the windunseen but undeniable. John 3:8 “The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth; so is every one that is born of the Spirit.”

The presence of electricity is known by lights turning on and motors running. The presence of the Holy Spirit is known through peace, conviction, guidance and changed lives. Electricity only works when something is connected to the source. For example, a lamp unplugged has potential but no power. A believer disconnected from God feels spiritually drained, thus we must abide in Christ to keep our spiritual life flowing.

The holy spirit & electricity Part 2

Prayer, faith and obedience are like plugging into God’s power. A dark room instantly changes when electricity flows. In the same way, the Holy Spirit awakens faith and gives spiritual life. They both give life to dead things, but more importantly the Spirit energizes believers to live beyond human strength. Power from both of these sources must be handled properly. Electricity is powerfulbeneficial when respected, dangerous when misused. Thus is the same with the Holy Spirit , it is meant to guide and transform, not be ignored.

Electricity flows from a power plant to many homes, just as the Holy Spirit proceeds from God and is given to believers through faith in Christ. Both from one source illuminating many lives. Lastly, electricity has both conductors and insulators. Rubber and wood repel electricity, copper and aluminum are just two materials that welcome the flow of electricity. Thus disobedience, pride and a stony heart repel the Holy Spirit, obedience, humility and a fertile heart allows the Holy Spirit to flow.

What of the drones

We live in the era in which mammon is king. Wealth is a virtue and poverty is crime. The number one rule of mammon is if something is profitable it is good and even virtuous at times.Which means protecting our interests at home and abroad means we are actually protecting the wealth and power of the United States. Which is why the US has close to 800 military bases outside of its borders. These bases allow the U.S. military to move with ease and project American strength around the world. It helped build and reinforce the world’s confidence in the American way. Our allies and many nations abroad believed in this projected power and wealth. They participated in military exercises and more importantly with their own wealth. Last year the world purchased 331.18 billion in US weapons.

The projected strength of the United States is part of the reason why the world was willing to live under the under umbrella of American authority because they felt it would ensure their prosperity and security. It justifies the 1.05 trillion in that is allocated just for defense because that would protect the wealth and prestige of the U.S. All of this was accepted by the tenants of mammon until the war with Iran.

On February 28, 2026 the US and Israel launched close to 900 strikes in 12 hours on Iran. They decapitated Iran’s leaders. Decimated their navy and air force. They devastated Iranian civil infrastructure. At least 6000 military personnel were killed and thousands of civilians were killed. And yet Iran did not crumble. Instead they proceeded to attack US military bases in the gulf. They did not use conventional weapons they use drones. A drone is unmanned device that can travel in the air, sea or ground. If you have played with a remote control toy car; you have played with something is similar to a drone

Iran has not been the first nation to use drones. The concept of unmanned aircraft began in the US in 1917. After many stumbles and improvement in technology allowed it to be used as surveillance and decoys in the Vietnam war. Saddam Hussein’s troops were terrified by drones used under George W. Bush and were willing to surrender quickly to avoid them. However it President Obama utilized drones so much that he was referred to as the drone president because at least 1500 drone attacks occurred during his presidency. Citizens in Pakistan and Afghanistan only felt comfortable during days of overcasted cloudy days because it was more difficult for drops to operate during cloudy days. At least 3400 civilians were killed. However American military drones were more expensive and and utilized in a more conventional way.

The true leap innovation occurred during the Ukrainian and Russian conflict. Ukraine a nation slightly smaller than Texas was invaded by Russia that is the largest nation on earth. Ukraine had no Navy and its Air force was nothing compared to what Russia had. The Ukrainians were desperate to survive and began to innovate and improvise; soldiers and civilians began to use commercially available drones to spot enemy positions so they could target them with greater precision. Keep in mind these were devices that you could obtain from Amazon. They then started to add explosives to drones that cost between 300 to 600 dollars. They figured out how to jam signals from Russian drones. Both sides began to go from radio waves to optic cables. Overtime they created a sea drone that cost 250,000 dollars used to push back the Russian navy and destroy a ship worth more than 65 million dollar. Russian tanks that cost 4.5 million each could now be destroyed by drones that cost 400 dollars. These same drones could be produced at a much higher rate than conventional weapons. Because casualties were steep on both sides of the conflict— Ukraine has started to use land drones

So even though the Iran Navy was decimated it did not need one. It did not even need to place mines in the strait of Hormuz. All it needed to do was hit a few oil tankers with drones. The insurance industry would then do the heavy lifting for them and voided the insurance necessary for the oil cargo ships to operate. In other words the Strait of Hormuz would be closed. This choked 20% of the world’s oil supply. When the US and Israel would hit Iran; Iran would target American bases in the gulf. It should be noted that the bases that projected the strength and prestige of the US were now liabilities to their host nations. The US would intercept the majority of the drones with extremely expensive missiles. It is reported that at least 1400 were used during this conflict and that is nearly half of the US stockpile. One missile cost 4 to 5.3 million dollars. However as effective as these missiles were they could not absorb all of the drones being launched to them. It is believed at least 4500 drones were launched at American bases in the gulf, the oil and natural gas infrastructure in the Gulf States and sites in Israel. It can be said that even the American Navy stayed away from the Iranian coast due to the threat from drones. Each drone cost 20,000 dollars. It is believed they will replenish their stock in six months compared that to the patriot missiles ordered this year that will take until 2028 to reach the battlefield. It is believed that the war in Iran has cost the US 80 billion dollars. This does not include the 300 billion dollars in reparations the Iranian government is now demanding. There are now reports that the Iranian drones are far more advanced than first believed. “Multiple drones interconnected and moving as one with smaller drones below the bigger drones like legs,” one of the sources familiar with the pilot’s witness account told CNN. Another source told CNN the pilot described witnessing a “minefield of drones” in the air. It is believed that China and Russia know how to have one person operate many drones at once in a coordinated fashion. There are also attempts to add artificial intelligence to drone warfare to improve precision and lethality. We must continue to watch as knowledge and evil increase. There are passages in the Bible written about tumult and fighting between the nations. Its clear technology will be used in these conflicts.

A message from our minister

As we look back at the journey of our congregation, we are reminded that a true work of God begins with a seed of faith. The Household of Israel Temple of Jesus Christ was first founded through the divine calling and vision of James and Ethel V. Webb. They carried the truth, starting as a family and planting the foundation, through Christ, upon which we stand today.

God has guided our steps through every season of growth. It was in 1992 that the Lord blessed us to acquire the booth church, giving us a dedicated place to assemble and praise His holy name. As our numbers grew and the vision expanded, we reached another pivotal moment in 2004, breaking ground on our current sanctuary. Today, that very sanctuary stands as a testament to His provision, built to hold over 100 people lifting their voices in worship.

Our history has not been without its trials. We have walked through many deep struggles, and we have endured painful losses. Yet, through the storms, our foundation has never shaken. We stand strong today for one unmovable reason: God is with us.

This June, we joyfully acknowledged our 34th church anniversary. Reaching 34 years is a magnificent milestone, and we give all praise to the Most High for sustaining us. Alongside this milestone, we acknowledged our all Church Birthday. This celebration is not merely temporal; it spiritually points us to the ultimate gift of immortality promised to those who endure until the end.

Saints, we have a profound opportunity before us. We are called to be a standard and a beacon of light for the saints of God to gather to in these latter days. We have the glorious opportunity to be a part of the 144,000—the redeemed who stand blameless before the throne. But such a calling demands our total dedication. We cannot afford to wait, procrastinate, or hesitate. We must serve God now, while it is still called today.

My brothers and sisters, let the word of God always be seen in you. Amen.

That is my advice
