Partnering with Pinnacle Treatment Centers to unlock a new pool of pre-licensed therapists
Challenge
Pinnacle Treatment Centers experienced a dramatic change in its workforce during the pandemic. As more therapists left the workforce, it became more difficult to fill job vacancies. Simultaneously, the number of people seeking help for addictions doubled. To recruit and retain workers, Pinnacle needed to improve the value proposition it provided to therapists, with many turning down job offers because they lacked an offering for clinical supervision to open a pathway to advanced licensure.
Solution
Pinnacle partnered with Motivo to fill the need for supervisors, which helped improve the employee experience and providing access to pre-credentialed counselors. Motivo provided a solution that aligned with the various types of licensures needed in a cost-effective and flexible way that allowed Pinnacle to scale counselor support across the company. In doing so, Pinnacle was able to address the churn in the workforce by targeting an entirely new source of counselors, ultimately removing patients from waiting lists.
