Południowe Podlasie to tereny leżące w północnej części województwa lubelskiego, na południe od rzeki Bug, które niegdyś należały do Rusinów Poleskich a także do Litwinów, Jaćwingów i Książąt

Southern Podlasie is an area situated in the southern part of Lublin Voivodeship, south of the Bug river. Long time ago, this land was reigned by Polesie Ruthenians, but also by Lithuanians, Yotvingians and Princes of Mazowsze.

Mazowieckich. Najbardziej zachowała się tu kultura ludowa, kształtowana przez różne style, obyczaje i religie tutejszych mieszkańców, między innymi słowiańskie, ormiańskie, ruskie, litewskie, żydowskie i tatarskie.

Folk culture is very well preserved there and was shaped by various styles, traditions and religions of the local population, including Slavs, Armenians, Ruthenians, Lithuanians, Jews and Tatars.
