TELEVISION GUIDE Wednesday November 7, to Tuesday November 13, 2012 Highlights this week 1. Pixar Animation Studios continued to demonstrate its brilliance in its sixth film The Incredibles (Prime, Saturday, 6.30pm) an adventure with plenty of fun for the kids and lashings of delicious irony for the adults. Middle-age angst hits a quiet suburban family of superheroes when the dad feels he needs to save the world again and goes out to battle a megavillain and his killer robot. Much kudos to Brad Bird, who wrote and directed this joyful romp. 2. In The Social Network (NBN, Sunday, 9.30pm), Jesse Eisenberg does an excellent job of playing this nerdy guy called Mark Zuckerberg who has this weird idea of a website where friends can talk nonsense to each other. It turned out to be Facebook. Based upon the book The Accidental Billionaires by Ben Mezrich, it is directed by David Fincher and written by Aaron Sorkin, the man who filled our screens with such hits as The West Wing and The Newsroom.
