TELEVISION GUIDE Wednesday January 23, to Tuesday January 29, 2013 Highlights this week 1. Charlton Heston, already showing a fondness for guns, and Linda Harrison starred in the 1968 scifi film Planet of the Apes (ONE HD, Saturday, 8.30pm), based on the 1963 French novel La Planète des singes by Pierre Boulle. It is now regarded as classic of its time and scores a respectable 89 per cent on the Tomatometer. Shame humanity learned little from it. 2. Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here (SBS2, Sunday, 8.30pm) is the story of the making of the 1975 album which went straight to number one in both the UK and the US. Interviews with Roger Waters, David Gilmour and Nick Mason and archive interviews with the late Richard Wright touch on this moving tribute to former band member Syd Barrett, the original songwriter/lead vocalist who died aged 60 in 2006.
