Byron Writers Festival 2025 Program

Your home, your life, your story.

Proud to be the founding sponsor of the Byron Writers Festival, we are committed to celebrating creativity and storytelling in all its forms.

For over 30 years, we’ve supported the arts, theatre, and youth programs that enrich our vibrant community. Our dedicated team share a passion for building a place where culture thrives. It’s our privilege to continue investing in the stories that shape our region.

Byron Writers Festival ‘25

Passion & Purpose

This year’s program invites contemplation of a life well lived, with literature and art at its centre. It celebrates the act of creation, of writing and art making, community building, and the good, hard work of progress.

When we place literature and art at the centre, we acknowledge it not only as the ineffable thing that ignites our curiosity, but as a human right, and as the essential element that connects us in our shared humanity. It infuses all areas of life – from politics, policy, history, economics – with possibility, generosity and bravery.

You are invited to join us in the Northern Rivers and gather with writers from around the world – from Australia, Canada, India, and the United Kingdom – for three days

We respectfully acknowledge that Byron Writers Festival takes place on the traditional lands of the Arakwal Bumberbin peoples of the Bundjalung Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and acknowledge them as the original storytellers of the lands and waterways of this Country.

Please hold on to your copy of this program and help us reduce waste. A limited number of printed programs will be available at the festival.
