Last weekend, a hefty contingent of the state’s constabulary held a festival in Nimbin called the Potcop Police Festival. Their festival unsurprised everyone with pop-up stalls in idyllic locations to welcome thousands of happy drivers. It’s is one of the few festivals in NSW that offers free drug testing. Meanwhile, on Nimbin’s high street, thousands attended symposiums, concerts, and contests of skill, dexterity, and strength, culminating in a colourful street parade. Developer The Kollective was granted approval to build the units under the state’s affordable housing planning policy, known as SEPP 70.
