CAMP MARANATHA DIRECTIONS (From Wasilla) 

Take Parks Highway north and turn left to Big Lake turn off (across from 1st fireworks stand on Parks Hwy.)



Drive approximately 3 miles and turn left on Big Lake Rd.



Drive approx. 1 mile and turn right on Beaver Lake Rd. (just before the Yamaha shop and Tesoro)



Drive approx. 3.5 miles and turn left on W. Lakes Blvd



After approx. 2 miles turn right at second Horseshoe Lake Rd. (this road is a loop; turning on the second access is most direct)



Drive 1/4 mile and turn left at Camp Lane



Camp Lane Leads straight into Camp Maranatha. Brown “Camp Maranatha” reflector signs mark each turn.

Alaska Conference team members, including pastors, lay leaders, CYAK, ACC, KICY, Bible Camp and all ministry personnel are invited to gather for encouragement, sharing, spiritual refreshment and fun, beginning with dinner at 5:30 on Tuesday and wrapping up at the retreat center on Thursday after lunch. Group afternoon options will be planned and a final dinner will be held at an Anchorage restaurant at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday..

The retreat will be held at Camp Maranatha, located in Big Lake, Alaska, just 1.5 hours from Anchorage. The lodge has several rooms that sleep two per room in twin beds that can be converted for couples wishing to attend together. Cabins that sleep more can be utilized as well for families or groups that wish to stay together.

Group meals will be enjoyed together and participants will hear presentations in large group worship times as well as small group discussions. The camp has canoeing, a ropes course, areas for scenic walks and more to en-

The primary goal of the retreat sessions will be to equip the saints to nurture community life through the art of spiritual conversation. Curtis Ivanoff, James Barefoot, and Aune Carlson will lead the group through interactive discussions around the theme “One another—a journey together.”
