The Vison
The Evangelical Covenant Church of Alaska (ECCAK) desires to see formal biblical and ministry training be more readily available, for more people, in order to equip local pastors and leaders for the unique challenges of ministry in western Alaska.
Locations and Course Schedule
Courses alternate between various YK Delta and Norton Sound villages, typically in the fall and in the spring. Occasionally, courses will be offered on the road system. Courses are taught by a diverse group that includes Alaska clergy, seminary professors, and other presenters who are committed to seeing God’s work continue to bear fruit in Alaskan churches.

WAMT offers a training curriculum tract that includes courses offered in western Alaska locations over a five-year five rotation that prepares individuals for ordination, in place of traditional seminary courses.
Continuing Education for Vocational or Lay Ministry
Courses can be taken individually for those desiring continuing education training or for men or women seeking to serve in vocational or lay ministry leadership.
