Superintendent Curtis Ivanoff M: 907.351.5104
Superintendent Curtis is team leader and chief executive officer. He oversees pastoral care, congregational support, operations, and ministry coordination with the denomination. He works directly with the executive board and all other boards, commissions, committees, institutions, and corporations of the conference.
Associate Superintendent James Barefoot M: 907.304.1617
Associate Superintendent James works closely with the rural churches of Alaska giving leadership and pastoral care. James provides general support to the superintendent, assisting with the ministries of mission, pastoral care, congregational support, and executive operations as well as the expense side of the conference finances, including payroll, paying bills, and producing budget reports.

Ministry Associate Aune is responsible for general office administration. Including management of directories and databases for the conference, the Western Alaska Ministry Training initiative, coordination of the calendar of events, the electronic bi-weekly newsletter, the alaskacovenant.org website, as well as ministerial licensing and credentialing in the ECC. Aune can assist with questions regarding medical insurance and pension for credentialed Covenant clergy, and is the primary contact person regarding conference events, information and resources available through the conference and the denomination. Financial Assistant Cory manages the intake side of the financial landscape for the conference, depositing checks, receipting donors, and tracking gifts that make our ministry possible in Alaska. Sinew Editor Kristi oversees the database for circulation and the curation of the Sinew, the quarterly print newsletter for our conference (also available for viewing online) as well as other print material.
