It was time for the eb’s team to realize its plan and create an official company / brand. They decided on the name “eb’s” for the brand name for the simple reason that the team got its start and remain in the popular area of Tokyo called EBISU. The first step to creating eb’s was to do their due diligence by getting real feedback from real snowboarders and doing extensive R&D on a variety of snowboard products. eb’s took all data gathered and created a line of product that they themselves and their snowboarding friends / peers needed to optimize their riding experience. Price-points were kept as low as possible while quality remained and eb’s was launched. It’s now been 25 years since eb’s launched. The success of the brand is owed solely to its riders, its supporters and the snowboarders who believe in eb’s simple approach to providing a quality product at a reasonable price for people just like the eb’s team, SNOWBOARDERS.
