Summer Swimming Crash Courses

Ashford Swim School Learn to Swim Summer Holiday Crash Courses We are offering two weeks of crash courses and technique courses for children in the Summer Holidays. Please see details below:

Week 1 Monday 29th July – Friday 2nd August 2019 Location: Ashford Prep School, Great Chart TN23 3DJ Course 1: Learn To Swim – Aquatic Skills 30 minute lessons run at 8.00, 8.30, 9.00, 9.30, and 10.00am (please note - not all Stages are offered at each time slot)

Stages: Ducklings and Stages 1, 2, 3,4 and 5 Cost for the week: £25.00 Ashford School pupils/ £27.50 non-Ashford School pupils Course 2: Learn To Swim – Stroke Technique – Breaststroke 8.30am – 9.00am Stages: Stages 5, 6 and 7 Cost for the week: £25.00 Ashford School pupils/ £27.50 non-Ashford School pupils

Course 3: Learn To Swim – Stroke Technique – Butterfly 9.30am – 10.00am Stages: Stages 5, 6 and 7 Cost for the week: £25.00 Ashford School pupils/ £27.50 non-Ashford School pupils

Week 2 Monday 12th to Friday 16th August 2019 Location: Ashford Prep School, Great Chart TN23 3DJ Course 1:

Water Sports Club - Water Polo

Following on from our highly successful and popular term time Water polo club: (Requirement – working towards Stage 5 or above)

8.00am - 9.00am (1 hour session) Cost: £30.00 for Ashford School pupils/ £32.50 for non-Ashford School pupils For children who may wish to do something different than just swimming, Water Polo is an exciting and fastpaced game combining the skill and tactical elements of football with the physical contest of rugby. Your child will learn the basics of the sport from movement, shooting and passing to more complex skills and technique and get to put these into practice in game situations.

Course 2 :Learn To Swim – Aquatic Skills 30 minute lessons run at 9.00, 9.30, and 10.00am (please note - not all Stages are offered at each time slot)

Stages: Ducklings and Stages 1, 2, 3,4 and 5 Cost for the week: £25.00 Ashford School pupils/ £27.50 non-Ashford School pupils Private lessons available on request between 10.30am and 12 noon Course 3:

Learn To Swim – Stroke Technique – Front Crawl 9.00am – 9.30am Stages: Stages 5, 6 and 7

Payment for a course will be required in advance at the time of booking. Places not paid for the by Friday preceding the crash course will be offered to those on our waiting list.
