Trek’s new Fuel EXe dual suspension eMTB ushers in a new HPR50 e-drive system with patented harmonic pin-ring technology from TQ Group, a German robotics company. The system forgoes planetary gears and cogs, while utilizing two circular gears that interact via a flexible pin-ring transmitter to deliver 50Nm of torque. Paired with a high-density 360Wh battery, the entire system weighs 3.9kg, the smallest and lightest in its class. The OCLV mountain carbon frame features RockShox suspension, including a 140mm Super Deluxe Select+ rear shock and 150mm Lyrik Select+ front fork. Equipped with a Shimano XT drivetrain and hydraulic brakes, and rolling on 29-inch Bontrager Line 30 wheels, the new Trek Central app allows customization. The SRP is $11,199.

Centred around a Bosch Performance line motor with 65Nm of torque, a 500Wh battery, and assistance up to 32kph, other comfort features include ergonomic grips, swept-back handlebars, a suspension seatpost, and wide 20 x 2.15” Schwalbe Big Apple tires. With a 5-speed internal Shimano Nexus gear hub, coupled with a Gates belt drive system for minimal maintenance, the NBD S5i is rounded out by Magura MT4 hydraulic disc brakes. Arrives in spring 2023. The new Serial 1 SWITCH/MTN is a very capable eMTB hardtail that is built around a powerful 250W Brose S Mag motor with 90Nm of torque and a compact, removable 529Wh battery. Equipped with a 1x12 speed SRAM SX Eagle drivetrain with e-bike-specific single-click trigger shifters, and an adjustable SR Suntour ZERON35 fork with 130mm of travel, the TranzX dropper seatpost adds to your comfort. Michelin E-Wild knobby 27.5 x 2.6” tires offer great traction, while TRP Slate T4 hydraulic disc brakes deliver stopping power.
