I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your past support and interest in the South Dakota Simmental Source Sale. In just a few short years, this sale has become a huge success and an excellent opportunity to purchase superior Simmental genetics. We continue to grow each year in both quality and success. All of this is not possible without dedicated buyers and bidders that attend our great sale.

The SD Simmental Association could not be more excited about this sale and the changes that have taken place. This sale has something for everyone whether you are looking to buy that sought after show heifer for a youngster, the bred heifer that may become your next donor cow, or embryos to advance your genetic diversity. Welcome back to the 2016 South Dakota Source Sale! It is exciting to invite you to the 6th Annual Sale. High quality Simmental and Sim-Influenced cattle remain extremely popular because of their performance, maternal ability, functionality and breeding flexibility. And of course, Simmental heifers make awesome junior projects that are ultra competitive and terrific herd starters for youth that want to get into the business and participate in production agriculture.

With that in mind, we are excited work with the SDSA again and present a great set of genetics in Mitchell, SD. We again have assembled a great set of cattle. They are ready and equipped to meet this demand for great Simmental pedigrees and rock-solid females that will go out and produce. These breeders have a focus and dedication to the Simmental business and to make good looking, hard working cattle that will produce results; whether in the pasture or in the showring. Study this offering and you will see predictability bred into these cattle as well as the breeding potential it offers your operation.
