The history book continues to grow as we concluded the 36th Annual Hawkeye Simmental Sale. It is a true tribute to the breeders of the Hawkeye Sale to have continued year after year to produce top quality Simmental genetics. The tribute is confirmed by the familiar faces we see each year at the sale and how happy they are with the past purchases and the advancement the Hawkeye genetics have made in their breeding programs. The Hawkeye group consist of Cason’s Pride and Joy Simmentals, Reck Bros & Sons Simmental, Ver Ploeg Farms, K-C Simmentals, McGlothlen Simmentals, Moore’s Simmental Farm and Onstot Cattle CO. Guest breeders list year included Jarr Cattle, Houston Family Sim, Top Line Simmentals, Triple G Livestock and Greg Scott. Congrats to all the Jr. members that had success with the past Hawkeye sale offering and best wishes to all of you that purchased your next winner for the 2015 show season! The Hawkeye group gave away a blower to a purchaser of an open heifer and the winner was Hayley Abell of Sigourney, IA
