Dear Friends and Loyal Customers, Once again, it’s sale time and it’s hard to believe it’s 2025, where does time go!! We’re very excited to announce that we will be hosting the sale here at the farm for the first time. Needless to say, it’s been a very busy and fast year, with getting facilities ready to host the sale, and two new additions to the family, we now have 5 grandchildren the latest two are Hayes Tyler 6/23/25 (Landon and Brittany’s son) and Carver Charles 5/15/25 (Colton and Cassie’s son) we have been so blessed. Looks like Papa is going to have a lot of help down the road. Tucker is seven now can open gates and drive the four-wheeler at chore time, Neleigh is five and in kindergarten and Callah is three and started preschool, both are very entertaining. They all bring us such joy, Love and entertainment. As for the rest of the family, we are all blessed with good health and are doing well. We had a good growing season timely rain, plenty of feed and a great calf crop, so a lot to be thankful for.
The cattle we’re offering in the sale this year continue to represent the type and kind we work to produce, real world cattle with the traits that it takes to be productive and maintain longevity. Our philosophy is to produce functional cattle that can excel in all phases of the cattle industry, so we try and select our seed stock to be of proven genetics and excel in most all the traits that we deem relevant, so traits like calving ease, docility and udder quality have become more important. Production and performance have always been our main goal. We believe this offer to be one of our best, there are very powerful breeding packages in every division offered, remember when selecting individuals, you can’t always judge a book by its cover, it’s more than just looks!
We work closely with our local vets to provide the best vaccination program possible; we take no short cuts when it comes to animal health. The cattle in this sale have been fully vaccinated for each stage of their life and are current with their vaccine shots. We do recommend that you scour vac the bred females you buy at the proper time as of now it is too early. Most importantly we want to say thank you to all our customers past and present for your confidence in our program, we cannot thank you enough for your loyal support and friendship. The bred heifers offering is really strong again this year. We take great pride in this set of bred females, they represent many years of breeding and selecting genetics that have enhance our operation and reputation. It is with confidence that I believe these genetics can do for you what they have done for us. Several of our top cow families are represented in this offering. So, as you evaluate these females know that we have done our best at mating these genetics to continue to advance our program as well as yours. These females are all bred to low-birth-weight sires for early spring calves.
