THE HOME BUYING PROCESS
A Premier Real Estate Brokerage
1,800+
Established in 2007, Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate has created a collaborative culture of highly trained and very successful professionals. The standards are high, and an invitation to join the company is considered a privilege and reward for high sales and admiration within the real estate community.
With four locations that allow us to specialize in marketing the key areas of Dallas, our approximately 350 agents represent properties of distinction throughout North Texas, helping clients buy and sell everything from high-rises to ranches.
Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate’s parent company, the Ebby Halliday Companies, is the No. 1 real estate brokerage in North Texas. This relationship allows us to heavily market properties beyond Dallas city limits. And our affiliations with the worldwide network of Luxury Portfolio®, Leading Real Estate Companies of The World®, and Mayfair International Realty, enable us to showcase properties to buyers from all over the world. Your listing receives superior exposure in not only national print and digital media, but also on an international stage.
The legacy of Ebby Halliday, who founded her namesake company in 1945, is carried out daily through 1,800-plus agents and staff and in-house mortgage, insurance and title companies. It is now amplified by our affiliation with HomeServices of America.
Acquired by HomeServices in 2018, the Ebby Halliday Companies are modernizing homeownership services and are focused on ensuring that homeownership is available to everyone who wants to own a home. In addition to our three real estate brands, the Ebby Halliday Companies partners with these essential services: Prosperity Home Mortgage, HomeServices Insurance, and Independence Title.

A Respected Brand Built on a Foundation of Service
Ebby Halliday was known for being a pioneer in the real estate industry. She created opportunities for others not only in Texas but around the country by the sheer force of her example and influence. She opened the doors to successful careers for thousands of people – in particular women, at a time when professional options were limited. Ebby was widely admired for her passionate leadership and tireless altruism, and her energy and enthusiasm knew no bounds. She lived her life by a simple saying:
“Do
Something for Someone Every Day.”
Ebby’s approach to life was contagious, and anyone who worked with or for her, couldn’t help but adopt the sentiment as their own. It’s why service has become a distinguishing hallmark of the company culture. To this day, these three principles guide us as individuals and as a brokerage:

PREQUALIFYING FOR A HOME MORTGAGE
The Importance of Prequalifying for a Home Mortgage
PREQUALIFYING FOR A HOME MORTGAGE IS CRUCIAL BECAUSE IT:
• Clarifies your budget, focusing your home search.
• Boosts your credibility with sellers, making your offers more attractive.
• Speeds up the closing process by simplifying mortgage approval.
• Provides insight into potential interest rates and monthly payments.
• Highlights any financial areas for improvement before buying.
• Strengthens your negotiation position, showing you’re serious and ready to buy.
• Reduces house-hunting stress by giving you financial confidence.
It Pays to Get a Second Opinion
VALIDATION OF OPTIONS:
A second opinion can confirm that the mortgage product you’re considering is indeed the best fit for your financial situation and goals. It helps ensure that you’re not missing out on potentially better terms or rates available in the market.
