COURSE INFORMATION

Learn what it is like to be a police officer!

The ECPD Junior Police Academy is a fun innovative experience that brings officers and teens together. Students will engage in hands-on interactive instruction, learn about policing strategies, train in specialized functions, and how the ECPD works in partnership with our community. This allows us to transform the traditional role of an officer into one of a mentor, neighbor, role model, and friend.

The Mission of the ECPD Junior Police Academy is to enrich our connection with the children of Eau Claire and foster lasting partnerships to motivate children to become responsible citizens.

The Junior Police Academy is designed to provide a comfortable setting allowing officers and youth to interact in a way where officers are seen as people. This allows us to strengthen trust and establish long-lasting relationships.
