The local electric company is Dominion Energy. You will need to contact Dominion Energy prior to your closing to activate your service. Water & gas are included within your Homeowners Association Dues; therefore, you will not need to activate these services.

The communications service provider for The Waterfront community is Home Telecom, based here on Daniel Island. Services included in your Homeowners Association Dues are voice, video, and internet. The systems will be active prior to your closing; however, it is important that you call Home Telecom during normal business hours to create a personal account allowing you to log into their services. Home Telecom features a boxless cable system, allowing your TV to be placed anywhere in your residence close to an electrical plug. HomeStreamTV is accessed via application on AppleTV, Firestick, Roku, or even directly through compatible SmartTVs. Additional a la carte services (channels, accounts, etc.) can be added if desired.

Flood, Wind, and Homeowner’s Insurance are all provided in the Homeowners Association dues. All Homeowners are required to obtain a standard H0-6 Policy for Personal Contents. EAST WEST HOSPITALITY & PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CONTACT(S) & SERVICES OFFERED
Born in the hospitality industry over 30 years ago, East West Hospitality is the property manager for The Waterfront. Locally, they provide property management services and association management to the homeowners and residents of The Gadsden, Tides IV, Anson House, 71 Wentworth, and The Cape on Kiawah. The below team is dedicated to The Waterfront and will be onsite full time, available to you inside The Post (301 Longshore Street, #413), Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM. Their hours are regularly posted and subject to change. This team will serve as your main point(s) of contact for everything related to the day-to-day operations and The Waterfront HOA.
Prior to your closing date, the property management team will be in contact with you to get you set up with the community’s fob-based access control system(s) as well as BuildingLink, the HOA’s communication and management platform. The system allows you to be notifi ed when packages have been received in The Post, and community reminders are posted, as well as where maintenance/work-orders can be submitted. A list of services and rates is available upon request.
The Team will also provide you with access to their accounting platform, Vantaca. This service will allow you to access your HOA billing statements and submit payments.
Any large deliveries, move-ins and move-outs will need to be scheduled with the property management team at least one week prior so arrangements can be made and elevator protective pads installed. Certificate(s) of insurance for movers and delivery teams should be presented to the property management team.

LIGHTING
We have found that interior lighting is the owners’ opportunity to set the tone for their space. Keeping this in mind, we have installed junction-boxes to accommodate the decorative lighting (ceiling fans, chandeliers, pendants, flush-mounts, etc.) of your choosing. Areas which are suited for J-Boxes include: living and dining rooms, kitchen islands, dens, bedrooms and bathroom vanities. The Waterfront’s interior design team, B. Due to venting conditions specific to each unit, it is important that your clothes dryer is able to meet certain venting requirements.
