Hello, and welcome to the 20232024 season of Wichita East Theatre! We can’t wait for you to see what we have in store for you this year. The cast and crew have worked so hard on this show and we can’t wait for you to enjoy it!
This year, our Thespian officers have the exciting opportunity to attend the Kansas Thespian Festival with Wichita Southeast High School. We can’t wait to represent East High at this amazing statewide event.

This play is 3 acts long. There will be one 10-minute intermission between Act 1 and 2 & one 5-minute intermission between Act 2 and 3. Restrooms are located to the east of the lobby (left of exit).

Enzo Tsen (Narrator/Ceilo), junior, is thrilled to be back performing on the East High stage for his third year. You may have seen him in previous East productions including We Will Rock You (Whitesnake/Ensemble), Mamma Mia! (Ensemble), and the 2023 District Musical, Legally Blonde (Grandmaster Chad/Nikos). You might catch him in the pool swimming for East's swim team, carrying around three backpacks or in the halls filming content! Enzo would like to say a special thank you to his parents and Sophie for all their love and support. Enjoy the show!
Jordan Gardipee (King Silvio), junior, is ecstatic to be in The Love of Three Oranges! You may have seen him in the chorus of previous EHS musicals, Mamma Mia! and We Will Rock You. They were also in the previous year’s spring play She Kills Monsters as the lord of the underworld, Orcus! Outside of theatre he leads the EHS Writing club and is an IB student.
Naomi Madison (Pantalone) is very excited to participate in the Fall Play of her senior year at East High. Acting is a passion she finally had the opportunity to explore in her Introduction to Theatre class, Freshman Year. You may recognize her as Snout the Tinker/Wall from A Midsummer Night's Dream (2021) and Evil Gabbi from She Kills Monsters (2023). She is active in the East Drama scene, even co-directing a production: Steel Magnolias (2022). She would like to thank everyone who has supported her love of Theatre!
Kilian McGaffin (Prince Tartaglia), junior, is excited to be appearing in his 7th EHS show, The Love of Three Oranges! You may have seen him as The Narrator from She Kills Monsters, Boy George in We Will Rock You, or Richard in Moon Over Buffalo. Kilian would like to thank Weston Uptmor, for having a beautiful soul, heart, and face.
Cyrus Morris (Truffaldino), senior, is excited and sad to be in his last Fall play. You may recognize him as Joe/Si Crowell in the Wichita Community Theater’s production of Our Town. Some other roles Cyrus has played in the past are Moth in A Midsummer Night's Dream, an ensemble member in Mamma Mia!, Cop, Yuppie, and Bohemian in We Will Rock You, and a company actor in Moon Over Buffalo. Cyrus would like to thank his family for encouraging him all these years and to give a special thanks to Mr. G for putting up with him all these years.
Kara Reida (Smeraldina), sophomore, is super excited to be performing in The Love of Three Oranges. She’s participated in musicals at East before, including We Will Rock You and Legally Blonde, but is thrilled to be in her first play here. She also is a part of varsity and state swim.
Olivia Gates (Fata Morgana), senior, is ecstatic for The Love of Three Oranges. You may have seen her in Midsummer Nights Dream, and She Kills Monsters. If she’s not on stage she’s probably by the fly lines, or stage managing. She is excited for her senior year in theatre.
Reggie Hunt (Leandro) is a senior this year and is excited to be back on stage for his 2nd East High Production following last year’s musical “We Will Rock You”. He has been participating in East High Theatre since his sophomore year. Reggie wants to thank the cast and crew for being amazing people to perform with and a special thanks to Mr. G for this amazing opportunity. Reggie also wants to thank his friends and family for always being supportive of his theatre journey.
Haley Hudson (Princess Clarice), senior, is excited for The Love of Three Oranges! While this is her first play at East High, you may have seen her as Annelle in Repertory Theater’s production of Steel Magnolias last year, or caught a glimpse of her behind the scenes in past plays and musicals. Haley has been active in theater since 6th grade and hopes to continue acting recreationally in college. When Haley get a free moment, she loves to read and write. Haley sends all her love and appreciation for her family, friends, and teachers who have supported and believed in her.
Weston Uptmor (Brighella), junior, is hyped for his role in the play, The Love of Three Oranges. Despite participating in East High productions in the past, this is the first time he will be participating in a play here. This is his second year doing theater related productions, having previously done tech for We Will Rock You and had a role for Legally Blonde. Overall, Weston has enjoyed his time with the cast and crew of the East High theater.
Maycen Weaver (Creonta/Feast Guest), senior, is so excited to be acting in The Love of Three Oranges. Previously, she's been an ensemble member in We Will Rock You. Although this is her first play as an actor, she has been backstage on running crew for Moon Over Buffalo and She Kills Monsters. You can find Maycen outside of the theater performing in choir concerts with Chamber Singers. Maycen wants to say thank you to her brother for coming to rehearsals with her, even if it was against his will.
Dylan Dickerson (A Gate/Feast Guest), a junior at East High, is very excited for The Love of Three Oranges ! This is Dylan's theatrical debut and is thrilled to be among his fellow cast members! Aside from studying theatre, Dylan likes to draw art, play piano from time to time, a huge gamer, and an archer. Dylan is grateful for his time in theater and can't wait to be on stage soon!
Alice Jones (Rope/Servant/Feast Guest), junior, is ecstatic about being in another East High production. You might recognize her as Evil Tina in She Kills Monsters or in We Will Rock You.
Leia Pameticky (The Cook/Feast Guest), sophomore, is looking forward to The Love of Three Oranges. This is her first time being on stage for a play at EHS. You may have seen her in We Will Rock You. She is an active choir member and is excited to continue participating in theatre and choir for the next 2 years at EHS.
Diana Claudio (Farfarello/Donkey/Feast Guest), senior, is super excited to be in her second East high production! She was previously seen in the musical We Will Rock You! and also singing in the EHS Madrigals. Diana is super grateful to spend her senior year on stage doing what she loves and would like to thank her family and friends for being such an amazing support.
Izel Franco-Mathur (Princess Ninetta), junior, is ecstatic to be in another East High production! You may recognize her from the ensemble of We Will Rock You or Mamma Mia! Enjoy the show!
Frankie Isaac Trotter (Princess Nicoletta), junior, is excited to be participating in her first school play. She's been doing theater since sophomore year. Previous productions include We Will Rock You, Legally Blonde; outside of Wichita East: Empire House, Wizard of Oz Wild West.
Francesca Tartler (Princess Linetta), freshman, is thrilled for The Love Of Three Oranges! This is her first time participating in a play at East, and she is hardworking and gets through both the ups and downs. Francesca sings in treble chorus and enjoys painting, She also has been a swimmer since she was seven. She is excited for East swim! Enjoy the show!
Madeline Hoge (Country Bumpkin #1/Feast Guest), freshman, is looking forward to being in “The Love of Three Oranges”, This is her first play at East High! She has been in the musical Annie Jr. and the play No Body to Murder during middle school.
Samuel Hibarger (Country Bumpkin #2/Palace Guard), sophomore, is thrilled to be participating in their first ever performance in theater, and can be seen as the royal guard and a country bumpkin.
Sampson Handrich (Country Bumpkin #3/Palace Guard), freshman, is thrilled to have been cast in their first high-school play. You may recognize them from the musical last year at Robinson Middle School where they played Drake in Annie Jr. They take their roles seriously regardless of how many lines they have, and love doing anything they can to help support the other cast and crew members.
Nolan Grossman (Musician), senior, is super excited to be performing with the East High Theatre Department for the first time! A percussionist by trade, Nolan has participated in many musical ensembles on the city, regional, and state level. At East High, you may see Nolan leading the Marching Aces as center snare, playing drums and piano for the Jazz Band, or puzzling his colleagues with his Weekly Crosswords. Nolan sends his gratitude to his parents; his siblings, Kaso and Gage, Mrs. Wilson, and G for their unrivaled help and support. Listen close for some exciting music!
Kaso Grossman (Student Director), senior, is very excited for her directorial debut. You might have seen her costume work in A Midsummers Night Dream, Mamma Mia, and A Mariage of Bette and Bo. She was stage manager for last year's plays Moon Over Buffalo and She Kills monsters. You also might have heard her in the pit for We Will Rock You playing bass.
Njaila Davis (Stage Manager), junior, is super excited for the upcoming plays and musicals in the future. Her first time on crew was “The Marriage of Bette and Boo” doing spotlight. She wanted to join theatre because she felt like it was right to meet new people and make new friends her freshman year. To her, theatre is a place where you can come and feel welcome. Her favorite time doing running crew was for We Will Rock You because of all the lights and songs!
Jae Larrea (Head of Costumes), junior, is looking forward to theater this year. They have worked on East shows like Mamma Mia and We Will Rock You, as well as MTW shows such as Wizard of Oz, on both costumes and hair-and-makeup crews. Jae also works on projects such as being a designer for ICT Fashion Tour in their free time to hone their craft. They thank everyone who has supported them along the way in their crafting shenanigans for putting up with their late-night projects.
Savannah Hess (Head of Lighting), sophomore, is excited to be back running lights for The Love of Three Oranges.
McKenna Blessant (Head of Sound), junior, is happy to be back in the EHS theatre and running the sound board for The Love of Three Oranges. You may have heard her work in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Mamma Mia!, Moon Over Buffalo, and We Will Rock You, which was the musical with which she won a Jester Award. McKenna sends her love and gratitude to her family, the costumers, the lighting designer, and of course, G.
Ray Jarrett (Head of Hair/Makeup), junior, is excited for this year’s set of shows. They have been in performing arts since they were 5 and have worked in previous shows including We Will Rock You, Legally Blonde, and She Kills Monsters.
Wyatt Carmichael (Head of Projections), senior, is super excited to be helping out with his third production for East High School. You might have seen some of his video production work in We Will Rock You! and Legally Blonde. Wyatt can’t wait to see what his final year of high school brings him. He sends all his love out to his family and friends who have supported him through his journey!
Sage Lessman (Head Fly Operator), sophomore, is excited for the show. She has participated in past shows at East including Moon Over Buffalo, We Will Rock You, Legally Blonde, and She Kills Monsters.

Join us for our second show, of the season: Guys and Dolls, a fun musical romantic comedy involving the unlikeliest of Manhattan pairings: a high-rolling gambler and a puritanical missionary, a showgirl dreaming of the straight-and-narrow and a crap game manager who is anything but.
