EVENTS & FUNCTIONS Whether large or small, Burton Town Hall is a great place to host your function. The Main Hall is a popular choice for larger events, whilst the Dove and Lingen rooms can be used for smaller get-togethers.
WELCOME The historic Burton Town Hall provides an impressive setting for any meeting or event. Our Grade II listed building exudes elegance and adds grandeur to your celebrations. Now over a hundred years old, the Town Hall still stands in King Edward Place. The Burton Municipal Borough Council was formed in 1878 and initially used the old Town Hall which stood in the Market Place. In 1891, Lord Burton offered the Saint Paul’s Institute and the Liberal Club buildings to the Borough as a much needed Town Hall. Following this, the Civic Offices were added, as well as King Edward Place which also includes the statue of Lord Burton. Our venue is versatile and flexible, lending itself to all sorts of events. From awards ceremonies and beer festivals, to small meetings and conferences, our professional staff are on hand to assist you.

THE RANGEMORE BAR The Rangemore Bar is situated off the Main Hall and provides a small, additional space that can be used as a break out room or a VIP area for functions or simply a quiet area for your guests. Capacity: 20

From our grand staircase and the exquisite decor of the Mayoral Suite to the gothic arches of the Main Hall, we have a range of options available to suit celebrations of all sizes and budgets. We are licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies in our beautiful Chamber and Muniments Room. Our Wedding Coordinators and experienced team will lead you through the whole process, from the initial meeting and planning, through to the day itself. You can have exclusive hire of any of our rooms to decorate yourself, or you can let us do all the hard work for you. We are able to create a bespoke package for you, from catering to flowers, entertainment to table dressing; we can work with you to create a memorable day that is unique to you.

The Main Hall offers a great space and atmosphere for my events and the ability to use a side bar for a chillout area is really important to the ambience.
