Spring programs - 2024 New Registration Portal!
Easton's Community Programming office is making some changes! Our registration portal will allow you to manage personal and family accounts, register for upcoming programs, and more!
To access our registration site, go to Easton.MA.US and click the "Leisure and Attractions" tab found on the top banner, then click "Community Programs". From there, select "Register for Community Programs" on the sidebar. Or, click the Rec Desk Button below!
Residents are still able to make payments in person via cash or check at Frothingham Hall.
Please see the "Help" tab on this website for information on setting up your accounts. To register family/household members other than yourself, you will need to add them to your account in your profile.

Spring programs - 2024 Helpful information
Accommodations:
If you or your family have questions about our approaches to inclusion or would like to request a program accommodation that leads to a more enjoyable experience, please email Programs@Easton.MA.US. We will do our best to modify aspects of our programs to provide accessible activities.
Waivers:
Waivers are required for all town programming. For youth programs, guardians will need to sign forms on the participants' behalf.
Drop-in programs:
No need to register, just arrive at the time the event is taking place and enjoy!
Maximum/minimum participants:
Due to program structure, some of our activities will require upper and lower participation limits. Programs that do not meet lower limits may be canceled, refunded, and rescheduled.
Refunds:
Programs canceled or with unanticipated changes in schedule will receive a full refund. Requests outside of 2 weeks will receive a full refund Requests within 2 weeks of a program will not receive a refund.
Punch cards (Fitness and Art) and swim memberships are non-refundable.
All other refund requests are at the discretion of the Community Programs office. Refunds related to changes in schedule outside of our office's control may not be accommodated. We will not refund credit card convenience fees. All refunds will be done via check.
Programs requiring Punchcards:
Punchcards can be purchased online, with the QR Code below, or at Frothingham Hall during regular business hours. Passes can be picked up prior to your first class at the front desk at Frothingham Hall. Programs with pre-registration are not eligible for punch card use. See pricing below!

Spring programs - 2024 Employment opportunities
Our summer jobs are great opportunities to gain professional experience and build your resume while meeting others in a fun and high-energy environment. All staff members will be scheduled around their availability.
Lifeguard needs are primarily on weekends, swim lessons will be on weekdays, and recreational activities will be during the day and early evening. Any questions regarding our open positions can be sent to Programs@Easton.MA.US
Lead Lifeguard(s): $18-$20/hr
Help lead our pool staff and maintain a safe and fun environment. In-person American Red Cross Lifeguard training or equivalent certification required prior to first shift)
Town Pool Lifeguards: $17-$18/hr
Keep patrons safe and having fun by supervising the pool and helping others. In-person American Red Cross Lifeguard training or equivalent certification required prior to first shift)
Program Support Staff: $15-$16/hr
Help to run fun activities such as youth sports, arts and crafts, and staff the town pool!
(CPR/First aid/AED training required prior to first shift)

Spring programs - 2024 Look ahead - Summer Swim!
-Learn to Swim!-

Join our summer team in our re-designed, smaller class size, swim programs. This new curriculum will guide your family from the basics of water safety at an early age, to refining strokes for even the most experienced swimmers.
Lessons will be taught by certified swim instructors who will provide lesson overviews with visual aids, demonstrations, and individualized coaching through drills and exercises, and provide a wrap up and look ahead to the next week.
Class will be $95 for 5-45 minute sessions. Class times are to be announced, and are scheduled pending instructor availability. Please email our office at Programs@Easton.MA.US to be added to our communication list for this program!

Spring programs - 2024 Look ahead - Summer Swim!

Learn to Swim - Class Levels
Level 1: Caregiver & Me swim:
Typically ages 16mo-3yrs, or individuals with lower levels of swim ability that require parental assistance. Anticipated class size: 1:8-10. Parent/ Guardian participation required at all times.
Level 3: Intermediate swim:
Typically ages 5-7 years. Designed for individuals that want to learn swim skills such as basic treading water, front strokes, backstrokes, and more!
Anticipated class size: 1:4-5
Custom Family or Private lessons: Tailored swim lessons for children from the same family or single individuals. Parents may be asked to take part if the group has participants under 4 years old.
Level 2: Beginner swim:
Typically ages 3-5, or individuals with limited knowledge and/or abilities to perform developed strokes. Will teach the basics of water safety, safety strokes and kicking. Anticipated class size: 1:3
Level 4: Advanced swim:
Typically ages 7-10 years, or individuals with a desire to hone their swimming, develop freestyle strokes, and enhance their abilities to tread water. Anticipated class size: 1:5



Spring programs - 2024 Look ahead - Schools out program!

What to expect:
The Town of Easton will be putting on a “Schools Out Summer Program!”. This program is designed to offer a safe, fun, and engaging environment for all children that provides parents with a reliable option for care that falls between the end of the school year and the start of most camps in and around town.
Themed weeks, arts & crafts, sports, special guests

Every weekday from Monday, June 17th through Friday, June 28th. 9:00am-3:00pm. No Program June 19th*

Easton Middle School
Who:
Grades from entering 1st- entering 6th. Counselor in Training for 7&8th
How much?:
In an effort to foster accessibility and flexibility for our residents, this program will cost $195 for week 1 (no activities 6/19, and $225 for week 2.
Registration:
Program signups are open for both weeks. We will set our initial maximum for each week at 20 children. As we hire additional staff, we will increase our registration limits accordingly.
When registering, please be sure to set up your family members in our new registration software - Rec Desk! We also ask that families make our office aware of any pertinent information for their child related to allergies, medications, or other details our team should be aware of.
Spring programs - 2024 Adult Sports Programs:
Pickleball Lessons.............................+18yrs old...........................$85
Varying levels of instruction covering the rules and basics of Pickleball. 4 week program run monthly. Private/Group lessons are also available upon request. Email Programs@Easton.ma.us for details.
All lessons will take place @ Frothingham Hall at various times.
Registration starts 3/1 for our April session
Min of 3 per group, max of 4 per group. Waitlists are available for each session.

Morning Pick-up Pickleball................+18yrs old........................$45
The Town of Easton has reserved 5 Pickleball Courts at the Unionville Park from Monday-Friday, 8:00-noon, from mid-April -through mid-November (weather permitting) for coordinated pick-up play. You must be registered to play to participate. Signups can be found on the town’s registration portal. No experience or equipment is needed! All levels are welcome to join.

Spring programs - 2024 Adult Sports Programs:
Co-ed Pickup Soccer...................+18yrs old.............................$40
Easton's Coed Pickup Soccer registration is open to all men and women 18 years and older. These games will be social and competitive in nature. Participants will play against other individuals of all skill levels. Players should bring a dark and white shirt. 4/14/24-6/16/24, 9am-10:30am on Sundays @ Keach field. Registration will run from 3/1 - 4/14, with a Min/Max of 20 and 40 participants.
Women’s Field Hockey League.......+18yrs old........................$65
Easton's Adult Women’s Field Hockey registration. These games will be social and competitive in nature. No practices, just play. Participants will play against other individuals of all skill levels. There will be no goalies. Play will take place on Sundays May 5, 12, 19, June 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30. 7-9pm @ OA turf. Registration runs from 3/5 - 5/5, with a Min/Max of 25 and 50 participants.
Women's Pickup Basketball..........+18yrs old..........................$30
Competitive pickup league with other Easton residents. Games will follow either 3v3, 4v4, or 5v5 models depending on daily attendance. Actvity schedule will be Tuesdays 4/2-5/21 (no games 4/16) from 7:00-9:00pm in the Oliver Ames HS Practice Gym. Registration is currently open and will close on 4/2. Min/Max: 15 and 40.
Men's Pickup Basketball..........+21yrs old................................$45
Competitive pickup league with other Easton residents and non-residents. Games will follow 5v5 models. Actvity schedule will be Wednesdays 3/20-5/22 (no games

Spring programs - 2024 Youth Sports Programs:
Co-ed T-Ball.................................4-6yrs old.................................$85
Join our fun team-oriented boys and girls T-Ball League! Players will learn basics on how to hit, throw, run and field. Players will need their own gloves, but all bats and helmets will be provided. Teams will be led by volunteer coaches and team t-shirts will be provided. Games will be played throughout the week at Ali’s Park – 74 Pine St, S Easton MA. Season starts 4/29 and goes to 6/14. Registration is now open, and closes 3/21/24. Max of 110 participants.
Track & Field...............................Grades 6, 7, 8...........................$165
Easton’s boys and girls middle school track program aims to ignite an interest in running, field events, and healthy habits. This program is open to all participants regardless of ability. Our dedicated coaches will teach nearly every competitive event. Teams will practice at OA Track on Mondays and Thursdays starting 4/22 from 4:00-5:30pm. This is a competitive program and will involve travel to other schools in the area. While hosted at Easton School facilities, this is a town-run program. Any questions can be sent to Programs@Easton.MA.US. Registration opens March 3/3/24 and closes 4/17/24. LIMIT OF 90 ATHLETES.

Spring programs - 2024 Youth Sports Programs:
Bocce w/ Special Olympics.............8-23+yrs old..................FREE!
Easton Community Engagement & Programming, in collaboration with Special Olympics, presents our community Bocce tournament - a skillful and inclusive sport event. This event will have athletes of all abilities, together, competing in this dynamic and supportive environment. This event is designed for children with and without disabilities. Teams of 2 can be entered, or, individuals can register and be paired in advance. You will get to play 2-3 games and there will be an award ceremony following activities. Saturday, 7/27/2024 10am-12:00pm @OA turf. Registration opens 4/22, runs through 7/20. Min/Max of 10 and 100. There will be 4 age groups: 8-12 yrs old; 13-16 yrs old; 16-22 yrs old; 23+ yrs old
Youth Field Hockey Clinics.................K-8th grade.....................$45
Current OA Varsity Head Coach, Alexandria Sylvia, along with our supporting coaches, will be leading a spring skills program to bring more field hockey to Easton. This session is open to kids in grades K-8. No Experience Required. Saturday's 4/27, 5/4, 5/11 & 5/18 . 12-1:30pm @Oliver Ames High School, Turf Field. Min 30, Max 50. Registration will open on 2/27, and will end on 4/25. Min/Max of 30 and 50.

A seated yoga session that's friendly for all ages and abilities. This is a great introduction to building skills and knowledge for life long yoga practice!

Yin Yoga ...........................

This type of yoga class is geared towards all skill levels. You will work with the areas closest to the bones to provide more flexibility in the knees, hips and shoulders. Learn all the poses and techniques in this class!

A branch of yoga that uses physical techniques to try to preserve and channel vital force or energy. These are typically practiced more slowly and with more static posture holds.

Georgi’s Bootcamp .................

This boot camp will kick-start your fitness routine and challenge you in new ways. All levels welcome but don't expect leisure! Light weights & resistance bands will be provided for this cardio, strength and resistance training, however, you can bring your own hand weights too. Spring programs - 2024 Single-day events & Workshops
Easton’s Egg Hunt........................Families!....................$5/child
One of Easton's longest-standing traditions in our Annual Egg Hunt. The Egg Hunt is open to all families in Easton. The event will be at Keach Park, 49 Chestnut St N Easton, or, our rain location will be Richardson-Olmstead Gymnasium on Saturday March 23rd, starting promptly at 11:00am. Pre-registration will run from 2/9/24 - 3/22/24.
Registration in advance is NOT required, and families can pay on-site the day of. This program costs $5 per child with a max of $20 per household.
Family Fishing Clinics..............3 and up!.......................$5/child
Join us at the Family Fishing Clinic, sponsored by the Massachusetts state Wildlife Angler Education Program . Reel in fun memories and learn the basics of fishing! All items are included in the registration fee. Program will take place at New Pond in Easton—597 Foundry Street South Easton, MA 02375. Date and time of the program are 6/4/24 from 5-7pm.

Living With Wildlife Presentation...........+18yrs...........................$5
This program delves into the harmonious coexistence of humans and the wildlife that inhabit our communities and natural landscapes. It underscores the idea that it is entirely possible to share space with native species while ensuring everyone's safety. This program will take place on May 16th 11-Noon at Frothingham Hall.
