With love, gratitude, and profound respect, we dedicate this Donor Impact Report to Bruce Whitaker, a steadfast champion of Easterseals Oregon For decades, Bruce poured his heart into ensuring that children, adults, seniors, and Veterans with disabilities had every chance to thrive. His kindness, leadership, and generosity changed lives. His legacy lives on in every act of hope that continues because of him. Bruce will forever remain a part of the Easterseals Oregon story, and in the hearts of all those he helped along the way.

You helped 24 children and adults with disabilities experience the life-changing joy, freedom, acceptance, and fun of Summer Camp.
You helped 340 unhoused Veterans gain help through our Veterans Employment Program (HVRP)
Your helped 431 low-income seniors re-enter the workforce through our Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP).
You helped 953 unhoused Veterans and their family members receive housing assistance through our Veterans Housing Program (SSVF).
You helped 487 adults with disabilities gain job readiness coaching and paths to meaningful employment through our Connecting Communities Program

At Easterseals Oregon, we are privileged to witness something extraordinary every day: the quiet, steady ways people like you transform fear into hope.
The past year, we’ve walked alongside Veterans who weren’t sure where they would sleep at night, seniors who wondered how they would stay housed and fed due to rising costs of living, adults with disabilities who feared they would never be hired, and families searching for a place where their children are fully accepted. In every one of those stories, your compassion shows up.
Because of you, 2,423 Oregonians experienced safety, stability, and belonging through Easterseals Oregon programs in 2025. Every number represents a person whose story changed because you chose to care.
You helped a child with disabilities feel the joy of being included and celebrated exactly as they are.
You helped an adult with disabilities hear the words, “You’re hired.”
You helped a Veteran move from a car into a safe home.
You helped a senior return to the workforce and gain the enormous relief and peace of knowing they can now afford housing, food, and medicine.
