PEER SUPPORT GROUP:
WHAM
Whole Health Action Management This group will take place in person, every Tuesday from 3:30 - 5:00 PM at the Easterseals MORC Center Line location (6900 E 10 Mile Rd, Center Line, MI 48015). There will also be an option to join virtually. Join us weekly for a peer-led support group. People can express support with genuine empathy through engaged listening. All individuals are welcome to come to this in-person group to gain support as you continue on your path to learn, heal and grow.
Objectives: Identify strengths and supports in 10 science-based whole health and resiliency factors. Write a concise whole health goal based on person-centered planning. Create and log a weekly action plan. Participate in peer support to create new health behavior. Elicit the Relaxation Response Engage in cognitive skills to avoid negative thinking Use shared decision making skills and tools for engaging with doctors.
