For teen girls, ages 13-17

MRT is an evidenced based practice and is currently used in all 50 states and 9 countries.

What is MRT and how can this group help?

MRT is a form of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) that promotes moral reasoning, better decision-making, and more appropriate behavior. The word “reconation” involves how we make our decisions. The MRT Group for Girls will assist in helping young women make decisions based on doing what is right.

What should participants expect?

Active participation in a respectful environment, including presenting on MRT step criteria.

Confrontation and reflection through examining their negative beliefs, attitudes and behaviors.

To enhance their understanding of right and wrong. Goal setting with focus on positive identity formation. Participants will earn a certificate of completion once they’ve successfully completed all 12 steps.

The MRT Group for Girls is designed for teen girls ages 13-17 who are looking to make better decisions

When and where will this group take place?

The group will be held virtually via Microsoft TEAMs on Mondays, 5:00 - 6:00 PM *Time may change during the summer months*
