Dreams Unlimited Clubhouse is a community-based mental health service that empowers people with mental illness to develop the skills necessary to be successful in their everyday lives. The Clubhouse operates on evidence-based standards by Clubhouse International. Together Clubhouse members work toward the common goal of recovery.
WHAT CAN I GAIN FROM BEING A MEMBER?
By becoming a Clubhouse member and voluntarily participating in the "work-ordered-day" members:
Prepare for re-entry into the work force or other meaningful activities

Enhance work and education skills

WHAT IS A WORK-ORDERED DAY?
The Clubhouse operates on a work-ordered day, which engages members and staff working side-by-side to do the meaningful work of the Clubhouse. Members volunteer to do tasks of their choosing, which are designed to help members regain self-worth, purpose, and confidence. Tasks include:
Data entry and billing
Food prep and culinary
Maintenance, landscaping, and gardening
Balancing Clubhouse finances and budget
Marketing, public relations, outreach, and advocacy
Decision making (e.g.: social activities, program policies, menu planning)

Dreams Unlimited Clubhouse has been operating since 1991. Since then, almost 900 members have taken control of their recovery and thrived through access to opportunities for employment, socialization, education, skill development, and improved wellness.

WHAT IS THE EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM?
The Clubhouse model's unique employment program offers members individual employment support based on their personal needs and goals. Members can participate in Transitional Employment (TE), Supported Employment (SE), or Independent Employment (IE).Accredited Clubhouses, like Dreams Unlimited Clubhouse, have a 42% employment rate, which is double the rate for people in the public mental health system.
WHAT DOES THE CLUBHOUSE DO FOR SOCIAL ACTIVITIES?

When the workday ends, members get together to enjoy social and recreational activities that are held in the evening and on weekends. We are also open on holidays.
