CAREGIVER GROUP
Easterseals MORC is proud to offer a workshop for caregivers to learn about child development, how to motivate their child to get chores done, and how to bring the family closer together.
When and where will this group take place?
This group will meet every Tuesday from 12:00 noon - 1:15 p.m., starting November 14th and will end on December 19th. The Caregiver group will be hybrid (with the option to join online or in person at the Southfield Crescent Centre location). Attendance to all six sessions is strongly encouraged.
What can I expect to learn by attending this group?
At the end of six sessions, you will be able to:
Identify age-appropriate chores.
Learn and understand about the importance of self-care.
Help children learn how to behave.
Build family communication skills.
Learn about and use “I” messages.
Have handouts and resources for home use.
