Secure your spot—pay the $200 Colonel Commitment fee (non-refundable) in your application portal
OCTOBER 1
Complete the FAFSA
Apply for housing
JANUARY 15
Challenge yourself—apply for the Honors Program (deadline)
FEBRUARY
Register online for orientation
Register online for placement testing (optional)
MARCH 1
Be admitted to EKU on or before March 1 to be considered for merit scholarships
Deadline for Maroon Madness scholarship
Submit your application for foundation scholarships before the March 1 deadline
MARCH 15
Deadline for alumni scholarships
LATE SPRING
Watch your mail and myEKU account for your financial aid award letter
JUNE 1
June 1 is the last day to accept merit scholarships
Deadline to be accepted for Madison County Promise
JUNE 30
June 30 is the last day to submit transcripts or ACT scores for a scholarship upgrade
MAY-JULY
Spend a day on campus for New Student Orientation
Register for classes at orientation
Send in dual credit college transcripts once your grades or AP scores are posted
AUGUST
Go to Big E Welcome
