Merit scholarships mean that your hard work pays off at EKU. Get money toward tuition based on your high school GPA and optional test scores. The best part is you don’t have to do any extra applications, essays or really anything at all - they’re all automatically applied.

• Madison County, KY, resident
• 2.5-2.9 high school GPA
• Deadline to be admitted: June 1 Scholarship Amount $1,000
Opportunity Scholarship Qualifications
• Kentucky resident
• ≥2.5 high school GPA
• ≥18 composite ACT score
• Financial need, determined by FAFSA Scholarship Amount
$1,000-$3,000
Here’s the fine print: Merit scholarships are applicable to students attending on-campus classes and can be adjusted as needed based on your Student Aid Index (SAI) and cost of attendance. To be eligible, you must submit a FAFSA.
