MORE Scholarships

There are many ways to lower the cost of college. Attending EICC is a great first step. Now take the next.

Apply for scholarships. It doesn’t matter if you were a class valedictorian or somewhere in the middle. Doesn’t matter if you are a recent high school grad or been in the workforce for a while. And it doesn’t matter if you are enrolled in a career tech program or plan to transfer in two years. Every student can apply.

Foundation Scholarships

Clinton, Muscatine, and Scott Community Colleges award numerous scholarships each year. There’s something for everyone, whether it’s based on academic excellence, financial need, community involvement, leadership, or your area of study.

WORKFORCE-FOCUSED SCHOLARSHIPS

Workforce shortages present you with a great opportunity. The State of Iowa, as well as other agencies and regional employers, may fund part or all of your tuition if you pursue a certificate, diploma, or degree in specific career fields. Meet the qualifications and Iowa’s Last-Dollar Scholarship, GAP Tuition Assistance, and other programs, may cover your tuition. Start by filing your FAFSA.

Connections Scholarships

If you will soon graduate from high school and have already completed college classes with us, take advantage of a Connections Scholarship. It provides three generous levels of funding based on how many credits you earned and your GPA.

LEVEL 1

Half-Tuition

LEVEL 2 Two Free Classes

LEVEL 3 One Free Class

Half-tuition scholarship for your first two semesters with EICC.

Criteria: 3.0 EICC College GPA—minimum of 12 college credits earned or completion of a Career Academy program.

One free three-credit class each semester for your first two semesters with EICC.

Criteria: 2.5 EICC College GPA—minimum of six college credits earned.

One free three-credit class for your first semester with EICC.

Criteria: 2.5 EICC College GPA—up to six college credits earned.
