What you’ll need:
- Paper chain kit (160 patterned strips)
- Glue stick, glue dots, craft tape or stapler
1. Prepare your strips
Take your patterned paper strips out of the pack and organise them if you’d like to create a colour sequence or pattern. Each strip is printed on both sides, so every link will look great from any angle.
2. Create your first loop
Take one strip and bend it into a loop, bringing the ends together. Secure it with glue or a staple - this forms the base of your chain.

3. Add the next strip
Thread a second strip through your first loop. Then join its ends together to create a new loop linked to the first.
4. Repeat the process
Continue threading and securing each strip one by one. As your chain grows, you’ll start to see your colourful design come together.
5. Build your full chain
With all 160 strips, you can create up to 33 feet of chains - perfect for decorating walls, windows, mantelpieces or spaces for celebrations.
Your products are designed to be enjoyed again and again and with a little care, you can keep them looking beautiful for longer.
1. Keep them dry
These decorations are made from recycled paper, so avoid moisture or humidity. Keep them indoors and away from wet surfaces or open windows.
2. Handle each chain gently
Each strip is handmade and lightweight, so take care when hanging, moving, or storing them. Hold sections rather than pulling on one link to prevent tearing.
3. Store carefully
When not in use, loosely coil or fold your chains and place them in a box or envelope. Avoid crushing or tightly compressing them to maintain their shape.

4. Avoid direct sunlight
Prolonged exposure to strong sunlight may cause colours to fade over time. Display them in shaded or indoor areas to keep them vibrant and colourful!
5. Repair if needed
If a loop comes undone, simply reattach it with a dab of glue or a staple - easy and quick to fix.
With thoughtful care, your paper chains can become a go-to decoration for celebrations, special occasions, or everyday colour around your home.
