It is a partnership programme led by East Durham Trust alongside local community centres, voluntary service providers, Citizens Advice, Durham County Council and Advice in County Durham.

ADVICE HUBS Advice Hubs are located at: Shotton Community Hub, Shotton Eastlea Community Centre, Eastlea, Seaham Dawdon Community Centre, Dawdon, Seaham Further hubs are coming soon!

We are also developing pioneering Digital Meeting Rooms at some Advice Hubs that will help deliver 1:1 appointments and sessions via video link.

ADVICE GATEWAYS ABOUT US East Durham Connected is a dynamic programme to transform and improve access to vital Information, Advice and Guidance services across East Durham.

Services supported by East Durham Connected include welfare checks, assistance with benefit claims and reviews, debt management and support, alongside referrals for crisis support such as food parcels and emergency energy vouchers.

East Durham Connected supports access to Information, Advice and Guidance services through:

ADVICE HUBS Advice Hubs are community based and led organisations, with their own premises, who serve their local communities and are available to local residents.

ADVICE GATEWAYS Advice Gateways are community based and led organisations, with or without premises, who serve their local communities and are available to local residents.
