Welcome,
We are so glad you are living on campus at East Central University! Housing and Residence Life is excited for our move-in days this week. Our Freshman Students move-in on Friday, August 15, 2025. Please note that if you are unable to move-in on this date, you will need to notify the Residence Life Office through email at HousingResidenceLife@ecok.edu or by phone at 580-559-5602 to make alternate check-in arrangements before August 6, 2025 at 4:55pm.
NEW STUDENT INSTRUCTIONS: FRIDAY, AUGUST 15, 2025

Your student ID will need to be presented to a member of Residence Life staff for check-in and key pickup. If you do not have a student ID, Residence Life staff can use a government-issued photo ID. However, if you do not have a student ID this will limit your building and meal plan access.
Kindly label ALL student belongings with your full name and room #. This will allow our volunteers to ensure all of your belongings go to the correct room.
Assistance will be provided to move your belongings from your vehicle to your room.
Please note that there will be student workers and Residence Life staff in ECU Residence Life T-shirts along with signage in all Freshman residence halls to make this experience as smooth as possible.
Additional information: all beds contain regular twin XL mattresses.
Please contact us at 580-559-5602 if you have further questions.
*Note if you are part of a group that is approved for early arrival, please disregard this email. Kindly follow the email sent to you with your specific program.
Sincerely,
ECU Residence
