LETTER FROM THE EDITORS “The lesson to be learned is that you need to gain exposure and make yourself known in your field, community, country, and the world.” In today's world, the entertainment industry is a dynamic and exciting field that is constantly evolving. It is a space where talented individuals come together to create magic and inspire audiences worldwide. However, despite the sheer talent and creativity within the industry, many participants struggle to gain the recognition and exposure they deserve. To address this issue, EAS Entertainment Magazine has created a digital platform to help bring the entertainment industry together. The magazine's primary objective is to showcase the work of industry participants and highlight a cross-section of individuals and businesses from various fields within the industry. By doing so, the magazine hopes to provide a space for like-minded individuals to connect, collaborate, and support one another. Undoubtedly, without adequate exposure, industry participants may struggle to grow and advance in their careers.
When faced with failure, it's important to remember that it's just a lesson, and not a permanent setback. The lesson to be learned is that you need to gain exposure and make yourself known in your field, community, country, and the world. As a dedicated resource for entertainment industry professionals, through its articles, EAS Entertainment Magazine is committed to offering support and guidance as they navigate their careers and pursue their dreams. With its Digital Magazine, EAS Entertainment Group offers valuable tools and resources to help industry participants with various aspects of their career, such as networking, marketing, and more. Businesses operating within the entertainment industry, as well as those that offer services to industry professionals, have a dedicated platform to advertise their products and services. It's worth noting that businesses that serve industry professionals are not limited solely to direct entertainment industry
business but also those businesses that indirectly cater to industry professionals. For instance, industry professionals may require a place to live or invest in property to support their music careers, take a break from their work with a vacation, purchase beats, enjoy good food at restaurants, hire a coach, decorate their events, attend events, hire exceptional DJs who can deliver mesmerizing music, and more. The EAS Entertainment Group Digital Magazine offers these businesses a unique opportunity to reach out to a broader audience and promote their products and services to a vast network of industry professionals and people from all over the world. DMV TALENT EXTRAVAGANZA Events are an integral part of the entertainment industry. As the saying goes, “a candle is meant to show its light not to be hidden”. Performers and those within the entertainment space are encouraged to find ways to make themselves known. One of the ways that hey can do so through attending events. EAS Entertainment Group understands this and when it launched in June 2022, we hosted the first DMV Talent Extravaganza at the Bowie Center for Performing Arts. We auditioned artists through virtual submissions and selected fifteen, twelve of whom performed at the Talent Extravaganza. Judges were present to review the artist performances and first, second, and third place winners were selected. They received large tastefully designed trophies so that they can remember that particular success. They also received recording studio time since as a vocal artist, the studio is a place that they would frequent if they are to take their career next level. We were pleased to hear that some of the artists first time experience of performing on a large stage was at the Talent Extravaganza. With this and other comments, we knew that EAS Entertainment Group was poised to make a difference. The event was well designed and executed.
PERFORMANCE CRITIQUE SESSION Among other important factors, believe that constructive criticism is important to the development of vocal artists. Given this, one of the events that we recently hosted is a performance critique session. We secured a venue at a audio visual studio and secured judges and a professional photographer. Each artist came well-prepared as if they were the headliner at a concert. The performances were excellent and the judges gave feedback that were well received by the artists. We secured a professional photographer. Additionally, each artist was interviewed so that they can gain added interview training. The event was one for the books and well appreciated by all.
