LCD Technology Easby Electronics are able to offer a wide range of standard LCD technology products from their manufacturing partners.

A host of character displays ranging from 8x1 up to 40x4 as standard can be offered in STN, Blue-STN and FSTN technologies.

A choice of backlights are also available as standard. If the customer wants something that isn’t available as standard, Easby Electronics are happy to work with the customer to look at a semi or full custom solution to suit their requirements.

The range of small graphics LCD products is huge across all of our manufacturing partners, covering almost every “standard” footprint, and ranging from pixel counts of 122x32 up to 320x240.

As LCDs are now viewed as mature technology, this allows for low cost tooling so that a customer can design a product that is perfectly suited to their requirements.

OLED Technology Easby Electronics offer a wide range of passive matrix OLED displays in both character and graphic formats. This is an emissive technology, therefore they require no backlight and offer a very high contrast in a range of colours on a black background. Standard colours are White, Yellow, Blue, Green and Red. The power consumption of OLED displays is very low and they also offer very wide viewing angles of up to 175° within a very low profile. The range of OLEDs that we offer have an extended operating temperature of -40°C to +80°C making them ideal for extreme environments.

As well as a full range of standard products, Easby are able to assist customers with semi and fully custom solutions, with rapid prototyping and low tooling costs

TFT Technology Easby Eelctronics are able to offer a range of standard TFT products ranging from 0.96” up to 100” in size. As a mature technology, manufacturing processes are efficient and production yields are high, meaning unit prices are very competitive.

As well as being able to offer all the “industry standard” sizes, we’re able to support bar/sliced TFT products as well, allowing a customer to select the exact physical size that they require. Our engineers can also support customer requests for custom backlights, touchscreens and also coverglass if required. E-Paper Designed to look like ink on paper, E-paper (or E-Ink) displays are an ultra low power display technology. With no backlight, they are 100% reflective, and therefore are perfect in high ambient light environments.
