Today is Estonia well known for its achievements in cyber security and cyber defence – Estonia’s trademarks in security and defence policy within NATO and the EU. Estonian vibrant and competitive defence industry is an organic part of national defence capability and credible partner to our international allies and business partners An effective R&D support system is developed to support coordinated developments. These efforts would support Estonia’s defence policy and would at the same time also increase the potential of our entrepreneurs. Estonian Defence Industry Cluster is designed to be a spearhead in this development and cooperation.

As an example of international cooperation for today already number of so-called defence ‘primes have established a firm foothold in Estonia and are members in Estonian Defence Industry Association and partners with local companies and Estonian Defence Forces. This is an outstanding example of cross-border industrial collaboration.
