11th Annual High-Level Networking Luncheon

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2025

Dear Friends,
Welcome to our 11th Annual High-Level Networking Luncheon.
This has been a very interesting and busy year for the Council, and for us, as the Council’s newly elected Executive Director and President.
We said thank you to Bill Whitney as our CEO at his retirement celebration in March and also said thank you to Tom Hansen as our President as he retired in July. Our new leadership, along with several other shifts in our Executive Board, is moving forward with strength from the work of our predecessors and with renewed energy and commitment to serve our Affiliates and their members.
We are thrilled to continue doing what we need to see that Contra Costa:
• increases hours for our members through new Project Labor Agreements throughout the county
• Maintains its refineries and preserves vital jobs for our members
• Attracts new industrial users and employers to create additional jobs for our members
Our days are filled and we are being innovative and collaborative to see that we achieve and exceed our goals – on behalf of our Affiliates, their members, and all working people in Contra Costa to make ours a robust engine driver for California’s economy.
And now, please enjoy our special bbq lunch by Englund’s Catering and the time for networking with our Council leaders and members, elected, community, and business leaders. Together, we are ensuring that Contra Costa’s economy is resilient and strong.
Thank you for supporting Good Jobs for Contra Costa County (GJCCC), a social welfare organization that works on issues and initiatives to lead and enhance the opportunity for better jobs in Contra Costa County.
In Solidarity,

Tim Sbranti, Executive Director Nick Goodwin, President CCBCTC CCBCTC
