HOUSING PLUS This housing projec t addresses the housing cr isis in Los Angeles by utilizing residual land adjacent to freeways for residential development. The design responds to the sur rou nding contex t by transitioning in height from the taller ISLA I ntersec tions S outh LA building to the neighbor ing single -family homes. Connec tions to ISLA and the adjacent far mers mar ket strengthen communit y engagement through shared landscape spaces and pedestr ian access.

SOLID VOID MUSE UM The projec t integrates sustainable design strategies through passive ventilation, high- efficienc y glazing, and solar roofing. White metal cladding defines the ex ter ior, while blue circulation elements highlight elevators, walk ways, and cor r idors, creating breezeways throughout the building.

Green ter races and a grey water rec ycling system suppor t landscape ir r igation and reduce overall water consumption on th e site.
