FOUNDERS CIRCLE Over the summer, we met with an alumni parent who has given to the Eagle Hill Fund every year since 1986. His son graduated from Eagle Hill in 1988. Though his gifts were not large, it was his consistent support for more than 32 years that stood out to us. We wanted to learn more about his son’s experience at Eagle Hill, and hear why he had been supporting Eagle Hill for over thirty years. He told us that at Eagle Hill, his son “learned how to learn differently.” The teachers understood that, as a student, he learned differently and they “catered his education program accordingly.” His son was a dorm student who made fast friends, a bit to his father’s surprise. Perhaps most meaningfully, when asked where he went to school, this alumnus always responds “Eagle Hill and the University of Arizona.” The education he received at Eagle Hill allowed him to successfully continue his educational journey, and his own personal journey. This alumnus from the class of 1988 is now 45, living and working in Arizona, married with two children. Stories like this one show why Eagle Hill is such an important and formative place. With your help, all of us at Eagle Hill will continue to provide the students here the opportunity to discover and explore fullest. their talents to the fullest
