News and Notes from the Golf Shop

September 2025 Labor Day Weekend

Aerification | Tournaments & More!

As summer winds down we hope to start seeing a drop in temperatures. September is shaping up to be an exciting month at Eagle Harbor Golf Club. We have a packed calendar of events, course maintenance updates, and a big welcome back to some familiar faces. Here's everything you need to know:

Monday, Sept 1 – Labor Day Holiday

Celebrate the long weekend with a round of golf! Book your tee time early – Labor Day fills up fast.

Thursday, Sept 4 – Course Aerification

Please note the course and driving range will be closed for scheduled greens aerification. This necessary maintenance ensures healthier turf and better playing conditions in the long run. This process will use a wet jet, small tine system that is minimally invasive and allows for very playable conditions the next day. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Saturday & Sunday, Sept 13–14 – HJGT Junior Tournament

We’re proud to host the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour once again! Expect a competitive weekend as talented junior golfers take on our course. Spectators are welcome, and parts of the course may have limited availability during tournament hours.

| 904.269.9300 x-1

Tuesday, Sept 23 – Ladies Golf Association Opening Day

Welcome back to the Ladies Golf Association! We're excited to see everyone back on the tee.

Tip of the Month: Transitioning to Fall Play

As temperatures drop, your game may need some adjustments. Consider:

• Using softer golf balls for cooler mornings.

• Clubbing up as ball flight changes in denser air.

• Dressing in light layers – mornings can be brisk!

Thank you for being part of the Eagle Harbor golf community. Here's to a smooth September filled with fairways, friends, and fall weather!
