$10 per Child per Clinic This clinic is designed for the youngest players. Children will learn tennis skills and play games while having fun.

Orange Ball Developmental Clinic Juniors Age 7 to 10 | 4:30-5:30pm Mondays & Wednesdays $20 per Child per Clinic Introduce your children to tennis with a fun, educational clinic that teaches kids the game, eye hand coordination and how to have fun playing.

Tournament Level Clinic Juniors Age 12 & up Mondays 5:30-6:30pm and Thursdays from 5-6pm $20 per Child per Clinic.

This clinic is for intermediate tournament level kids. Players must be approved by a pro to attend this clinic. *A minimum of 4 registrants is required per session or the clinic will be canceled.

Designed for the disciplined player who competes in a high school team or in tournaments. The program includes drilling, strategy, match play, conditioning and goal setting.

May has arrived, the course is filling up, and conditions are prime for scoring. Here are a couple of quick tips to sharpen your game and keep things running smoothly on the course this month.

Rules Tip of the Month: Lost Ball vs. Out of Bounds — Know the Difference One of the most common rules mix-ups happens when a ball is lost or goes out of bounds.

• If your ball is lost or out of bounds: The traditional rule is stroke and distance — meaning you replay the shot from where you last hit and add a penalty stroke.

• Local Rule Option (commonly in place): Many courses allow a two-stroke penalty and a drop near where the ball was lost or went out of bounds, saving time and improving pace of play.

Always check the local rules posted in the clubhouse or on the scorecard before your round.

BLACK CREEK Spring Best Yard Contest Get your yard ready for this year’s Black Creek Best Yard Contest!

• Judging will take place MAY 16 • There will be one winner for each of the four (4) Black Creek neighborhoods • Winners will be presented with a BEST YARD sign to be displayed for 7-10 days and will receive a $100 gift card!

Pick Up After Your Pets – It’s The Law As a direct result of a resident survey,

Black Creek installed pet waste stations in 2021. There are seven (7) pet waste stations conveniently located throughout the community.

The community’s provider, Doody Calls cleans and resupplies the stations weekly.

Semi-Annual Resident yard/garage sale took place Saturday, April 11th. We hope you were able to participate. The next approved Resident Yard/Garage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, October 24th.

Slow Down! School will be out for summer soon, and while we should always be aware of the speed limits, it’s even more important now that students will be out and about on bikes and darting across the street in pursuit of summer fun. Speed limits for the Eagle Harbor community are as follows: •

Fishing in the Ponds Good weather brings an increase in both resident and non-resident fi fi shing in the community ponds. While ponds located on CDD property are welcome spots for all, ponds located behind a resident’s home are private property and should not be accessed, even through CDD assigned access points (easements), by anyone other than the homeowner or a CDD employee for the purpose of maintaining the pond.

Community ponds located behind residential properties are private and it is within the rights of the homeowner to interpret unauthorized access as trespassing and call the Sheriff’s office.
