Join us for one of our resident favorites, Eagle Harbor’s Book Exchange! Stock up or exchange books that range from cooking, suspense, travel, self-help, romance, children, youth, classics and more! You do not have to donate to participate! Mingle with your neighbors and pick out newto-you books to take home. Any leftovers books and monies collected will be donated to our local library!local library!
Donating? Here is how it works:
• Drop off any new or gently used Adult or Children’s books to Waterfront Park
• We will sign you up & write down amount of books donated
• Arrive at event at Annex Building
• Check in & you will receive a ticket for the number of book you previously donated
• That ticket can then be used to buy/exchange, “new-to-you” books inside the event
Didn’t donate? YOU CAN STILL PARTICIPATE!
• Residents that did not donate books can still participate
• Books will cost 50 cents to any residents that did not donate books but would like to purchase books at the exchange (All monies collected will be donated to local library!)

The facility will be split into different age appropriate categories and prizes. Multi colored eggs and prizes will be lining to pool deck as far as the eye can see. The Easter Bunny will also be attending so please be sure to bring your cameras!
We will be handing out Easter Baskets at the door to all children that are participating. This way there is no big baskets and small baskets and everyone has a fair shot!

Eagle Harbor Aquatics is getting ready for Summer!
If you would like to be part of our team, here is your chance. We will be hiring adult supervisors, snack bar, front desk and lifeguards.
If you are interested in becoming a lifeguard we will be holding certification classes on the following dates.
Sign up will begin a month prior

March Lifeguard Certification
Lifeguards at Eagle Harbor work as individuals and as a team to oversee residents at our 3 beautiful aquatic facilities.
Lifeguards are responsible for providing water rescues should the need arise and administer any first aid or emergency care and treatment.

Snack Bar and Front Desk positions fill up quickly, we will begin hiring in March and conclude in April in order to complete the required training prior to opening in May.

All lifeguards are required to be Red Cross certified and possess a CPR and First Aid certification.

Prerequisites:
1) Minimum age: 16 years.
2) Swim 300 yards continuously using the breast or front crawl.
3) Tread water for 2 minutes using only the legs.
4) Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds. Starting in the water, swim 20 yards.
5) Surface dive to a depth of 7 to 10 feet to retrieve a 10-pound object. Return to the surface and swim 20 yards on the back to return to the starting point. Exit the water without using a ladder or steps.
*Must be able to complete prerequisites to be accepted into the class.

Kids Clinic
Tiny Tots is for ages 3-6 from 4:00-4:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays. $10 each child per clinic. *please notice the price increase.
Orange Ball Developmental Clinic is for juniors ages 7-10 from 4:30 -5:30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. This is a great way to introduce your children to tennis. It is a fun, educational clinic that teaches them the game, eye hand coordination and of course how to have fun playing. $15 per child per clinic.
Tournament Level Clinic is for juniors ages 12 and up from 5:30-6:30pm on Mondays and 6:30-7:30pm on Wednesdays $15 per child per clinic. This is for the intermediate tournament level kids. (Must be approved by a pro to attend this clinic)
Teen Tennis Clinic is for beginner juniors ages 12-18 from 6:30-7:30pm on Wednesdays. It is a fun, educational clinic that teaches them the game, eye hand coordination and of course how to have fun playing. $15 per child per clinic.

Eagle Harbor Golf Clinics for kids are designed to introduce Juniors to golf in a fun and welcoming setting. Session topics will vary each week while introducing players to the fundamental skills required to enjoy the game entirely. No equipment is necessary for our beginners. Hot Shots of the Month
Congratulations to each of these ladies for making ACES this past month! This was a month where the ladies cashed.
Teri Wensell made her second career Hole-In-One on January 10th during Ladies Playday which was an added thrill for the group. Teri holed out a pitching wedge from 81 yards on Hole #15.
Belinda Brewer made her HoleIn-One on Hole #13 from 121 yards where she used a seven wood for her ACE.

Association and competes on a regular basis in these events across the country in which golfers of all ages and abilities compete utilizing classic and restored Hickory Shafted clubs from another time! Recently BJ competed in an event at the historic Winter Park 9 and captured the ladies championship over 18-Holes with a gross score of 82! BJ shared in the excitement and was cheered on by her good friend and fellow member Leslie Gilliland. This wasn’t enough for BJ as she followed up that great day by besting the field the next day in a four club challenge (utilizing only four clubs) with a gross score of 43! Congratulations and great fun ladies!
