There was an increase in total units sold in July, with 231 sold this month in Arlington County versus 220 last month, an increase of 5%. This month's total units sold was higher than at this time last year, an increase of 1% versus July 2010.

Versus last year, the total number of homes available this month is lower by 93 units or 11%. The total number of active inventory this July was 736 compared to 829 in July 2010. This month's total of 736 is lower than the previous month's total supply of available inventory of 774, a decrease of 5%.

Last July, the median sale price for Arlington County Homes was $529,990. This July, the median sale price was $500,000, a decrease of 6% or $29,990 compared to last year. The current median sold price is 6% lower than in June.
