Randall-Paulson Architects has been proud to serve Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine since 1988 designing multiple facilities around the city.

The newest renovation, their flagship location, serves metro Atlanta in a 25,000 SF suite.

NEWSWORTHY ITEMS TILT-UP SERIES: ATL BD+C 2018 GIANTS 300 REPORT

TILT-UP CONCRETE ASSOCIATION

N

ow in its 42nd year, Building Design+Construction’s annual Giants 300 report ranks AEC firms by discipline and across more than 20 building sectors and specialty services. More than 480 U.S.-based architecture, engineering, and construction firms participated in the 2018 Giants 300 report.

Data for our Giants 300 charts is based on information supplied by the respective firms. Firms are asked to verify the accuracy of their data.

RPA is ecstatic to be included in the Top 150 Architecture Firms list by BD+C 2018 Giants 300 Report at number 108!

A

rchitects, engineers, developers and contractors across the country are taking tilt-up to new levels. They are utilizing this most flexible building system to realize new markets, executing high-end, Class-A finishes and calling on the intrinsic properties of tilt-up to meet increasingly stringent energy codes. Best of all, they are willing to share their experience and expertise with you.

The Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) recently hosted a series of education/networking events across the country. The last stop in 2018 was Atlanta, Georgia on November 15, 2018.

RPA is proud to have John Stantz on the planning committee for TCA’s Tilt-Up Series as well as for 2019’s National Conference to be held in Atlanta.

John also participated as a panelist discussing jointless concrete technology.

NICOLE MILES - VIVID SOUTH

T ravel and Tourism are often vehicles that attract new businesses and residents to relocate in the city of Roswell.

Visitors not only stay in our lodging facilities and with friends and family, they eat in our restaurants, shop, attend events. and leave behind a very positive impact on the economy of our city. Nicole Miles - vivid south - completed this program last month. She is now equipped with the tools needed to share Roswell’s hospitality with others as they conduct business, enjoy family and friends and volunteer for community organizations.

PROJECT SHOWCASE H E A LT H C A R E

WellStar North Fulton Cath Lab North Fulton Hospital is consistently working to meet new challenges and keep current with new technologies and techniques all while elevating the patient experience. Randall- Paulson Architects was engaged to help plan for the next generation of Cath Lab services utilizing existing storage space on the third floor of the Hospital. RPA worked with user groups, physicians, and vendors to craft the best use of space to accommodate current and future growth. The latest finished and approaches were used to help shape a better patient, staff experience. The final space included two Cardiac Catherization Labs, one Electrophysiology Lab, seven Pre\Post Rooms, Doctors Reading Rooms, Staff Lounge, Staff Locker/Shower Rooms, Offices, and other required support space.

WellStar Metro Atlanta Cardiovascular Medicine Nationally recognized cardiovascular physician, Dr. Paul Douglass had spent many years in his midtown office. As a prominent member of the local community he wished to move his practice to a more central location where his patients resided. Randall-Paulson Architects was able to help him renovate the 12th floor of the popular Peachtree Towers building in downtown Atlanta. RPA helped facilitate the design of the new space by preparing full construction drawings, interior design, and furniture selection. The new office design took careful cues from a vibrant palette and culture that Dr. Douglass personally championed. The schedule was very tight with only a few short months to design, build, and move in. RPA worked closely with Dr. Douglass, WellStar Health Systems, the Contractor and consultants to meet the tight timeline. The final product is vibrant and exciting.

WellStar Acworth Health Park This project is the renovation and expansion of an existing multi-story health park building. The new construction and renovations compliment the existing building design. The urgent care is expanded to be able to meet the demands of this thriving community. The project includes a building expansion, which houses additional exam rooms, sub-wait room, laboratory, support spaces, and X-Ray suite. This was completed in two phases to ensure the Urgent Care remains fully operational during construction.

Monroe in 2013. When he joined RPA he brought two years of public accounting experience, auditing government and private entities, as well as two years of corporate experience in cold storage. Logan has an ongoing goal to continue his learning and education. He is glad to have taken a major step forward by passing his CPA exam.

FALL FESTIVITIES Each year, RPA participates in Miss Mary’s Ice Cream Crankin’ that benefits The Drake House in Roswell.

The Drake House provides short-term crisis and affordable housing programs for homeless single mothers and their children in North Metro Atlanta. RPA has been crankin’ since 2011!

A group of RPA employees were delighted to spend the night celebrating Sunshine on a Ranney Day (SOARD). SOARD is a Roswell-based non-profit that creates dream room & home makeovers for children with long-term illnesses and special needs. RPA has completed several room makeovers, a special project, as well as graphic design services (vivid south) for the organization.

As an annual tradition every October, RPA employees get to show off their school spirit.

Every October, RPA participates in Bowling for Boobs. The bowling competition at Midtown Bowl supports the Susan G. Komen foundation and breast cancer research. RPA, once again, had the highest score for their time slot.
