OFSTED HAVE RATED US ‘GOOD’ I am delighted to inform you that our Academy has recently had an Ofsted inspection and we have been rated as a ‘Good’ school once again. This is a fantastic achievement for our Academy and it cements the outstanding progress we have made. The bar for a good rating is set very high, but to have been rated outstanding in two areas shows how our teachers and students are thriving. Our aim is to ensure that all our students continue to grow and become well rounded individuals, supporting them to achieve the very best academic outcomes. The inspectors were delighted with what they saw when they were at our Academy for two days. They especially praised our students excellent behaviour, the safe environment and the outstanding opportunities we provide. Student voice At E-ACT City Heights Academy our students are at the heart of the academy, that’s why we have a student committee, Head Boy and Head Girl to ensure our students have a voice. Our student committee engages students to voice their opinion to have a say about their academy and teaches them important skills such as debating, leadership and teamwork.

We have a strong partnership with Dulwich College where we come together weekly in timetabled lessons, enrichment sessions, targeted support and virtually through an online mentoring app. Shared facilities and best practice enhance our pupils’ learning within and beyond the classroom and we work collaboratively to promote the Academy’s profile among our local community. Mr Barnett works with small groups of students to coach them in football skills. St Matthews Project specifically help the young people of Lambeth fulfil their potential and improve their mental health both physically and emotionally. Students on a St Matthews Project session
Goals 4 Girls promotes female leadership in areas across education, sports and employment. Our female students grow in confidence from learning a wide variety of skills.
