HOW RABBIT CHANGED THE WORLD

Decision

Once upon a time there were three rabbits. They lived in a small cottage and they were very lazy and as a result they were always hungry.

“This can’t go any longer!” said the eldest one.

“What do you mean by that?” two other rabbits asked.

The eldest rabbit responded: “This, us living here like this. I want to change it! I’m gonna get a job.” said the rabbit with a laught on his face. “You’ll see.” said the rabbit in responce.

JobThe rabbit put on his boots and went to look for a job. He crossed the mountains and valley and reached the cottage where shepherd lived. He came to him and offered himself to guard his sheep. Shepherd wasn’t really happy about it, but he had broken leg and needed some help, so he agreed.

As the rabbit was carefully guarding the sheep, sudenly wolf appeared and approached to him:

“Hey you, give me one of your sheep or else I’ll eat you.”

Rabbit responded: “I can’t give you any sheep, because Bear has already ordered one, but he will leave one for me. Let’s make a deal!”

”I’m listening” said the wolf.

“If you bring me cabbage and you’ll guard the sheep, I will give you my sheep in return. So, what do you think about that?”

“Hhhmmm, okey deal.” wolf agreed. Wolf brought the cabbage to the rabbit and guarded the sheep.

Agreement

Whathappendthen?

While wolf was taking care of the sheep, rabbit run to the shepherd and told him: “Wolf is taking care of your sheep. I am going home.“

Shocked and feared shepherd with his brooken leg set of to see wolf. He counted the sheep and found out that not even one is missing.

So he asked the wolf: “What are you doing here with my sheep?” Wolf responded to him: “What do you mean your sheep? They are not yours.”

“So, then whose they areif not mine?” said the confused shepherd. “Well the rabbit told me that these are bear’s sheep. I’m guarding them instead of him cause me and rabbit made a deal.” wolf told to the shepherd about the deal that he made with rabbit and shepherd started laughing.

Result DUNČO

“What’s so funny about it?” wolf asked.

“You see my name is Bear, you’ve been fooled by the rabbit. But I must say, that you are a very good guard, not like that cowardly rabbit, who only thinks about cabbage. Stay in my servise and you will have a full belly every day.” offered the shepherd who tried to save his sheep.

Wolf agreed and since then he has been one of a faithfull friends of shepherd. Shepherd even named the wolf Dunčo. And so that’s how the rabbit changed the world and everyone was happy. The wolf was full, sheep were alive and our rabbit lost the bet with his brothers but at least he had his cabbage.

And the bell rang and the fairy tale is over
