Leicesters industrial past has been fading into rubbles and ruins in the last decade and as we reach further into a future with unrecognisable factories that built the cities we live in, we must aim to revamp and reuse these sites in ways that benefit the cities future. The objective of this proposal is to show the possibility of a clt structure that can last the test of time with providing a sustainable life cycle of feeding residents and visitors without having to import food or goods from overseas. The main goal is to create an intergenerational community that can live on site, eat on site and grow their own food on site.
